PAYMENT POLICY

This Payment Policy governs all financial transactions on the Sparecel Platform between buyers, sellers, and Sparecel Private Limited as the marketplace operator.

1. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
  • UPI (all UPI-enabled apps including PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM)
  • Net Banking (all major Indian scheduled banks)
  • Debit Cards and Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
  • Mobile Wallets (subject to availability)
  • Cash on Delivery (CoD) — available for eligible orders and verified accounts
2. PAYMENT PROCESSING
  • All online payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant, RBI-authorized third-party payment gateways.
  • Sparecel does not store card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on its servers.
  • All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment confirmation is sent via SMS and in-app notification upon successful transaction.
3. PLATFORM FEES

A convenience fee may be applicable on certain orders. The applicable fee, if any, is always displayed at checkout before payment confirmation. Sparecel reserves the right to revise fees with prior notice on the Platform.

4. SELLER PAYOUTS & SETTLEMENT
  • Seller payouts are processed after successful delivery confirmation and completion of the applicable return period.
  • Sparecel's platform commission is deducted from the order value before disbursement.
  • Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) under Section 194-O of the Income Tax Act, 1961 is deducted at applicable rates before payout.
  • Tax Collected at Source (TCS) under Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017 at 1% of net taxable value is collected by Sparecel and deposited with the government. This reflects in the seller's GSTR-2A for input credit.
  • Monthly settlement statements are made available to sellers through the Platform.
5. FAILED TRANSACTIONS

If a payment is debited from your account but the order is not confirmed, the amount will be automatically refunded to the source payment method within 5–7 business days. Sparecel is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment gateway.

6. DISPUTED PAYMENTS

Payment disputes must be raised with us within 7 days of the transaction date. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Chargebacks initiated directly with banks without prior escalation to Sparecel may result in account review pending investigation.

7. GST ON PLATFORM SERVICES

GST at applicable rates is levied on Sparecel's commission and platform fees. GST-compliant invoices for platform services are issued to sellers periodically.
